Waterloo Park

Waterloo Park, often referred to as the "Jewel of the City," has been a central part of the community for over a century. In a recent redesign, the park's transformation focused on sustainability and ecological balance, with efforts to preserve mature trees, enhance ecological spaces, and reconfigure the shoreline of Silver Lake and Laurel Creek. The design includes modern amenities like an urban beach, boardwalks, outdoor concessions, and captivating sculptures and fountains.

The lighting design by Seferian Design Group emphasizes safety, visual appeal, and comfort. Strategically placed pole-top luminaires in the parking lot, bollards along pedestrian pathways, wayfinding lights at waterfront lookouts, and recessed wall luminaires along the main promenades create a cohesive and inviting environment. The lighting blends functionality and aesthetics, ensuring the park is a welcoming space day and night. Energy-efficient LED technology minimizes light pollution, preserving the park's natural yet urban charm.
